I believe my role is very unique and I am extremely enjoying it. I provide reports on a day-to-day basis ensuring the organisation understand all risks that are involved within the business. The role varies from day-to-day with multiple meetings across the organisation giving me a lot of exposure to how the exchange operates. I am also across the compliance space, which I have not had a lot to do with yet but I am in the process of reviewing a procedure within the organisation and offering feedback on what could be done to improve that process.
Maintain ad-hoc processes, improve systems
My role is managing the back-end, operational side of the market. My day-to-day includes tracking latest announcements, corporate actions, and trading events for listed companies. These tasks are managed across my team and as most things need to be done within market hours every day is different and can get exciting.
