There is a structured pathway all the way from grad through to partner. The promotion pathway balances tenure with capability and performance well.
Consultants receive regular feedback from project teams and formal performance reviews, which helps identify strengths and areas for development. The firm also invests heavily in professional development. When I joined, all new consultants from the Australia, Singapore, Malaysia and China offices came together in Singapore for a week-long training programme covering core consulting skills, problem solving, communication and firm methodologies. It was also a great opportunity to build relationships with colleagues from across the region early in our careers. Beyond formal training, there are regular learning sessions, on-the-job coaching from more senior consultants, and opportunities to work across different industries and functional areas. Overall, I feel the firm provides strong support for career progression and offers plenty of opportunities for those who are proactive, perform well and are keen to take on additional responsibility.
Lots of opportunities and pathways to fulfil career aspirations, including a merit-based promotion system, great opportunities for sponsored study, global exchange programs that can take you all around the world, and compensated non-profit fellowships.
