In a typical week, there is at most 3-4 hours of meetings, and maybe an hour or two of working with real hardware doing test setups. Outside of that, the day-to-day typically consists of reviewing code, designing and optimizing our modules, and writing code for these designs.
I work on the options strategies team, so I mainly work on systems related to our autotraders. My day to day is extremely varied, with my work alternating between developing my larger milestone projects, finishing smaller tickets and supporting trading. Some days, I'll get time to just code all day and make progress on my larger projects while other days I might spend handling prod issues with trading
Lots of responsibility given even early on.
