I had a unique experience, having entered the role through a student-experience program and an internship prior to joining as a graduate. My experience was very positive, and each stage had a quick turnaround without being left waiting for any longer than a couple of days. I found the experience enjoyable and the interviewers were all very approachable and wanting you to perform at your best.
The interview process was challenging but quite enjoyable. I felt like Optiver valued my time and did interview that were as accurate as possible when it came to assessing my ability as a developer. Response times were also rapid and Optiver is one of the few firms that provide feedback post interview process.
Lots of technical brain teasers/mathematical questions/simulated trading games. Enjoyable but difficult. Communication was very good throughout the process and it was very smooth.
OAs, behavioural, online coding, then super day with 2 technical rounds (Oop + data structure) and 1 final behavioural round for internship
