In general the pay is what I'd expect for a newly starting intern, no major surprises there. The free breakfast and extra paid summer days off are nice perks.
Pay is competitive for an entry role. Free health insurance with Southern Cross is very nice to have. Opportunity for LeavePLus (extended annual leave) is also nice.
I received quite flexible working arrangements and, during my internship, felt incredibly valued as a member of the team - joining the company in their christmas party activities and receiving celebratory cake on both starting and finishing this period. I also appreciated having, though did not use, the option to redeem private health insurance and uber for business benefits. They also have drinks on friday, where all teams join together in socializing, and summer fridays, where hours were halved.
