PowerCo is inclusive of all kinds of people and I would say are pretty diverse and never against any ideas brought up to celebrate one's culture.
This can be a difficult thing to judge as there aren't necessarily many women in electrical engineering but generally in the company it does seem to be mostly men in managerial roles. Especially within the more technical teams in the company, they are mostly dominated by men.
Powerco has a really diverse group of employees - they have opened up the grad program to include practical backgrounds which is fantastic. Women are well represented on the exec team - however, people of colour are a bit on the low side. I think it can vary a lot by managers and teams - hopefully that changes in time but it is a bit disappointing to see, abeit rare.
