From what I’ve seen, there are definitely opportunities to move up at RCP if that’s what you’re aiming for. They’ve got a clear framework for progression, and it’s tied to both your skills and experience. Basically, if you’re proactive about learning and take advantage of the resources they offer - like training sessions, and mentorship - you can set yourself up for the next step. It’s not just about time in the role; you need to show you’re ready by building the right competencies and taking on more responsibility. The company makes it pretty clear what’s expected at each level, which helps you plan your development.
Promotions occur with experience, which is available on the projects you are assigned. Higher members help provide the experience needed to improve your skills to be promoted.
I feel like there isn't a black and white answer for the pathway and the timeframes associated and skills needed to this. It seems very subjective. There is also 1 opportunity a year to discuss and get a promotion a year.
There is a clear pathway for career progression within the company and if you are seen as having prospects they will train and prepare you to move up the ranks. You need to be motivated and work hard but there are plenty of opportunities.
