very very very flexible, but I think that depends on what team you are in. My team is happy to let me work from home when I need, attend appointments when I need, etc. Not super strict about start and finish times - so long as you do your work when it needs to be done, and you work your contracted hours, that is what is most important.
8.30 start which can end ranging between 5.00pm - 9.00pm depending on how busy we are. Work from home is optional at times, but only recommended if you are feeling under the weather or you have a personal appointment etc.
We may be required to work reasonable additional hours from time to time. The remuneration provided for is apparently reasonable compensation for both any additional hours worked and also my availability for hours outside of the agreed normal hours of work. We can sometimes work from home.
Working arrangements are flexible in my team, and I am able to work from home if I need. In general, working hours are extended at my workplace, and there are expectations that you stay late to get things done.
