The company supports people in training, attending conferences, and gaining accreditation with an in company mentoring program. There are clearly defined expectations for career progression.
As I am still a grad, I haven't looked to far into progression past my grad status (which is a set 2 years). But discussions have already been had about some next steps and pathways.
Graduate program then the opportunity to later progress to intermediate engineer, senior engineer and principal engineer.
I've already been brought onto some very high-profile and complex projects. I have a lot of independence and get to work on things solo a lot which I like. I have also been put into courses and we have training at work to upskill our team. Although I'm a grad, there is support to gain chartership. The grad programme is two years and it's pretty structured, which makes it a gentle transition into working life.
