Majority of grads find a permanent position in the company post graduate scheme. Depends on business cycle, but as of late, it can feel like a one in one out policy with limited investment into the establishment of new roles. Ergo, reduced scope of what is available, in the short term, should your interests align. From a medium / long term persp. - appears to be a meritocracy with promotion determined on work ethic and fit.
Throughout the graduate programme, we get experience in 4 6-month stints in different roles. This has allowed me to experience several different aspects of the business and to present my skillsets to various leaders throughout the company. We also get to build goals and become essential employees to Suncorp New Zealand.
