The tasks can be quite satisfying if you are willing to really push your team to give and help with satisfying work.
At the moment I am in a slow period of work and there does seem to be a trend of technology graduates not being given enough work. However, the work that is done is definitely meaningful. I am given the opportunity to provide real value to the company. My day-to-day tasks involve some graduate program work as I am a lead in the Graduate Community Committee and the NZ Graduate Ambassador. For my rotation role it would usually involve a morning huddle followed by interspersed meetings and downtime to focus on coding.
I am satisfied with the level of work I do. I am not 'pulling my hair out' stresses but I am kept busy and know that the work I do is valuable to my team and the wider business.
