One of the great things about working at Toyota is that it hardly needs an introduction. We're the leading car manufacturer in NZ for over 30 years.

As a recently appointed intern, I do not have a full understanding of the promotion process. I have observed a strong focus on employee development and learning. I have been given valuable opportunities to build my skills, gain exposure to different areas of the business, and learn from experienced team members. Based on my experience so far, the company appears supportive of employees pursuing their career goals and professional growth.
There is a lot of transparency and encouragement around development at TNZ. You're encouraged to think big about where you want your career to go, and you're given the support, guidance, and opportunities to help get you there.
Once you start working at Toyota, you will be able to meet a lot of people from different backgrounds
The Toyota NZ graduate program offers the opportunity to rotate through 3 different areas of the business over 2 years, which I believe gives you a great overview of the links between teams/departments. You are given clear, structured goals to support your professional development, with frequent check ins. You are also encouraged to reach out if there are other aspects of the business you would like to know more about.
Your manager will work with you to determine your career goals and develop individual goals for you to meet as you progress.
