One of the great things about working at Toyota is that it hardly needs an introduction. We're the leading car manufacturer in NZ for over 30 years.

8 per day. Additional when required. Early starts and late finsihes twice a week
The nature of the motor industry requires flexibility so I knew that going in, and my experience in hospitality made this transition very easy. Although my working hours differ each week, I'm able to make sure I bring my best each day because my dealership also realises the importance of work/life balance.
Not flexible in the sense they accommodate WFH. My role is not customer facing, so I am able to work remotely, however this is frowned upon.
They are reasonably flexible. I currently work 8/8:30-4:30/5. And sometimes a few extra hours here and there at home. Manager is very good at allowing me to leave early if I have an appt etc.
I work 40 hours a week between fixed hours 7.30-4 pm - I chose these times and stick to them for my own routine. They prefer us not to switch in fairness to those who have rigid working hours (customer facing employees, employees on phones etc) They are flexible with lunch hours/ taking time to make appointments and leave, however there is not a strong option to work from home like other companies have developed since covid - I believe this is for consistency across the business as we have a mix of office and customer facing roles (those roles can't physically work from home). However I am happy coming in to the office so I am satisfied with the flexibility here.
