I worked on a variation of small things. Spent time combing through Transpower files and asset information to gather knowledge for other people. Used Snowflake and SQL for this as well. Also used Snowflake to categorise assets that didn't have a specific person looking after them, and hosting meetings with the people who I thought should be responsible to see if they agreed. Looked through asset health calculations on some old software and reproduced them in Excel for up-to-date condition monitoring. Also researching for our intern project, and putting together presentations.
I was given a variety of open-ended tasks with varying levels of technical difficulty. I was able to select which task I wished to work on at any time, giving me the freedom to undertake the different projects as I see fit, within the required timeframe.
