Pretty good training opportunities and workshops available for staff.
This grad program is packed full of training. The induction is a week long and provides plenty of tools and resources to get you up to speed. We got presentations from other second year grads, executive panels for questions and lots of general workplace advice. We've had good training sessions since in efficiency, writing well, self leadership, working with others, etc. We also have monthly grad meetings where you pick up a lot about what goes on in Transpower. On the technical side, I have learnt tons, especially because I didn't know much about power engineering beforehand. They encourage you to make time with people to ask questions and take on opportunities and challenges.
