Transpower is the national grid operator. It takes a whole-of-industry view of the electricity sector and operates the system on behalf of NZers.
No remote work for interns, but the hours were pretty relaxed - most people in Christchurch worked 7:30 - 4, but it's up to you to decide when you arrive and keep track of the hours.
Remote work is supported, but interns are encouraged to work on-site. Work hours are flexible as long as the workday time allocation is fulfilled.
As a graduate work hours is not super flexible. You are expected to be in the office 5 days a week but can work from home if you are unwell or a situation arises upon agreement with your manager. You can also work from any of the Transpower offices around NZ.
