The space is fine - the location is perfect - the facilities are good - the dress code is a little slack - grotty tshirts - jeans and often with guts spilling out cos they dont fit their clothes anymore ... Unshaven ... Rough... Just a bit slack - sorry is that a bit harsh? I call it the trimble malaise ... Been here too long and just dont care anymore ? Not sure how you change people behaviour around that
Great location, sufficient carpark (one of the best reasons I want to join trimble), free coffee and fruits every day.
The facilities are good, plenty of desk and cubicle space, good toilets, multiple kitchens and coffee machines. The location is nice as well: a few cafes nearby, a bakery, and it's right next to a park. It's a small distance out from the center of the city, but not unreasonably so. Dress code depends on which department/area you work in. Something like finance or HR would be a business casual (button-up shirt, dress pants, dress shoes).Engineers and developers mostly stick to "developer casual" (t-shirt, jeans, sneakers). There's also a lot of people with construction/mining/industrial backgrounds and a lot of testers/heavy machine operators, so it's quite normal to see someone in "tradie casual" as well (t-shirt, cargo shorts, boots). Overall, the engineering dress code is loose, yet practical.
Great spaces with a nice view, though can get a little cramped when everyone is in the office.
