2 interview stages, first being a get-to-know-you call and behavioural interview with a recruiter. Asked about background and interests, reason behind wanting to join Trimble, and some background on Trimble itself. Second, a panel interview/technical, panel consisted of members and manager of the team the role was with. Again some brief background but through more of a technical lens and then some technical questions about both previous experience and projects as well as some general technical questions about technologies I had stated I had experience working with.
Online application -> online interview with hiring manager -> online interview with engineering team -> offer
The recruitment into my internship was brilliant! The transition into my graduate position became a bit tricky with miscommunication between myself, my manager (US based), and the PX coordinator in NZ. Throughout it I felt advocated for at all times, there was just confusion around my funding working in NZ for a team primarily based in the US. I am on bridge funding until the new year.
I was a returning intern, so the process was extremely easy. The recruiter knew me well and referred me straight through to the team after my screen. I did not require a second interview or technical interview as the team new me and my capabilities
Technicial interview was online and with the director of my department of interest. It went very well
