Trimble

There was an onboarding period where there were a few knowledge transfer sessions and mandatory training modules. Wouldn't have minded some more general training with the tools and such used at Trimble, as well as a better high-level look into what Trimble as a company does, what different parts of it do and what does the part I'm joining do and is responsible for.

I have had formal training in SketchUp, the Trimble product I am working with. This was a 4 day course which earned me a beginner certification. This experience has hugely helped my understanding of the work I do. I have also received incredible mentorship from my colleague. I would love to receive more training on general professional practices. I have communicated this with our Graduate lead. She is onto it and in the process of setting up workshops for us.

As a fixed-term employee I am not eligible however I am aware of frequent opportunities for casual learning events or structured courses.
