Although I have been in the role 6 months longer than I should have, I am aware that usually the career progression is pretty seamless. My transition from intern to graduate was very easy.
Graduate placements are generally linked to the placement year, although graduates are also able to apply for opportunities that interest them during their third year. From my experience, there has not yet been a situation where a graduate has been unable to secure one of their preferred placement choices. Once you have completed the graduate programme, you are free to apply for roles and promotion opportunities across the organisation that align with your interests and career goals. There is also a technical promotion pathway available, which allows employees to progress and develop their expertise within their chosen field.
