I have met the loveliest people at Watercare, like any place there will be people you don't click with but most of the time our teams really do well at supporting each other and new grads coming through.
The culture here is amazing. There are so many kind and friendly people who are always willing to lend you a hand and support you. The people that work here are interesting and from all kinds of diverse background, making it a welcoming and supporting place to work. We often go out to lunch with colleauges and a select few do this after work. Internal teams sometimes don't work the best with eachother, and some people can be very busy, but generally everybody wants the same thing, which is to operate efficiently and provide the best services possible.
The office culture is very friendly, both during and after work hours. It’s common to socialise with colleagues from different teams, creating a collaborative and welcoming environment. As a grad, you’re constantly being introduced to new team members and different parts of the business, which helps build connections and encourages idea-sharing on various projects
The people are great; friendly, supportive, and kind. It is an inclusive work culture. Socializing is limited due to limited budget available (due to it being a council owned organization) The structure of the business has undergone a lot of change in recent times.
