Some of our site offices are really old and not in great condition.
The space is clean and accessible, with good ergonomics at most desks. Sometimes the AC is a little too cold in summer. The location is in Newmarket just opposite the train station, which makes it easy to get too by train or bus, but a little challenging by car. Nearby there are so many things to do, places to eat, and places to relax on lunch break. In the office there is a gym and shower, which is subpar at best. The dress code is fairly flexible, ranging from smart casual to smart. Many people like to do casual fridays, with a select few (myself) doing formal fridays.
The office is located in Newmarket, which is great for commuting with easy access to buses and trains. The building itself has excellent facilities, including a gym, bike parking, regular car parking, large communal spaces with various seating options, and multiple coffee machines. The dress code is generally business casual, with Fridays being either more relaxed or more formal for 'Formal Fridays' depending on what you are feeling
The Watercare head office is comfortable. Dress code is casual-formal. In the operations space, you can wear casual to semi formal clothes as you will be going to site often and may not want to get your nice clothes dirty. Working in the infrastructure space, you will be required to dress slightly more formally.
