As a past summer intern, I was hired as a graduate engineer without going through the graduate hiring process.
First step was a online interview video upload interview which had great questions Next step was an in person interview which I found less scary as they got a current grad to help
I initially applied to Watercare as an intern. This was done through seek online application. Following the application I was interviewed by my manager and the team I would be joining once. They gave me the intern role, and after it was finished I was offered a role into the Graduate Planning Programme.
The interview process was straightforward and supportive. I was asked the standard questions, but the atmosphere was relaxed, making it feel more like a conversation rather than a formal interview. I felt comfortable answering and asking questions, which made the experience much easier
The interview process involved firstly a video interview where we answered a few questions about ourselves and why we are interested in the role. Next was an in-person interview, and lastly a job offer.
