Remote work is not very common.
My employer prefers us working on-site, especially for graduates, because you learn faster by being around the team. That said, they’re flexible when you’re sick or have legitimate reasons you can’t come in, so long as the work gets done. Priorities can shift as deadlines approaches, so there are times when I put in extra hours. My manager discourages unnecessary overwork, but we still meet deadlines when they arise.
Yes they are flexible, i usually do 7- 3:30 but this can change if i have stuff come up on a daily basis which is great to have that flixibility
I work 8 hours a day, from 8:30-5pm. Two days of the week from home and three days in the office. This is a perfect balance as it is great to come in the office to be there for big meetings and to see your workmates, with the work from home days saving time and fuel on travel. I know it differs between teams, but my manager is flexible on what hours we start and finish, and what days we work from home.
