There are a lot of training opportunities, we get lunch and learn a few times a month - a free lunch and we listen to a training on a topic. We also get lots of feedback when we perform work (feedback is a big part of the culture of the firm - lots of positive feedback as well as constructive feedback that is delivered nicely). Quarterly reviews as well.
I'd rate the training & development a 9/10. The Junior Lawyer Technical Training series has been especially helpful - it covers the fundamentals of being a lawyer in a firm setting, including sessions on the different practice areas, legal research, and practical skills like filing and serving documents. The Kaitiaki mentoring framework has also been a great support system, with regular catch-ups from a buddy, senior mentor, and partner (Kaitiaki), helping me feel connected and supported throughout the grad program.
