It is a very social office, with frequent events. The team work together well and everyone is open to helping each other.
The various teams get along well, and join in for social activities when organized.
Team communicates well
People are surprised and ask me what i am up to if I am here late - definitely not expected. Quite a big team in water without a lot of structure in terms of work/delegation. Mostly more informal shoulder-tapping to help out. Fairly social and lots of teamwork, though often online meetings.
Everyone is extremely nice and friendly around the office; there are many extracurricular groups and activities. The current cohort of graduates get along very well and regularly spend time together outside of work hours. Being an open plan office, the structural hierarchy does not impose on each person's approachability. The head of my department is often sat a few desks over from me and I always feel free to chat with him and other high-level employees, whether about work or general chit-chat.
