Decarbonisation taskforce tasked with helping achieve the company goal of reducing the carbon in our designs by 50% by 2030. Decarbonisation is becoming something that most people are aware of and are actively trying to achieve on their projects.
There are ESG and Carbon reduction goals at the company.
Quite carbon focused (easier to compare progress with numbers), but overall pretty strict environmental protection - this is a big priority.
We get a subsidy for commuting via "green" methods (e.g. public transport, bikes, etc). There is a driven sustainability team that constantly does internal reviews (not just for WSP NZ but also for interantional WSP businesses) on top of their regular client work.
