As a mature professional transitioning into software engineering, I found the graduate interview process to be comprehensive and engaging. My background in customer experience management provided a strong foundation for demonstrating my capacity to adapt and thrive in a values led, performance focused environment. While the technical components were certainly demanding, I embraced the opportunity to apply my problem solving skills and demonstrate my commitment to continuous learning.
It was a fair and considered approach to recruitment although the total experience took approx. three months to get through, which was difficult in terms of applying for other roles at the same time and keeping momentum going to get into the industry. The assessments themselves were average to difficult but not terribly difficult; they were fair and made sense to complete in the role I was applying for.
