The culture at Z is fantastic. Everyone is welcoming, supportive, and genuinely wants to see each other thrive and succeed. There are numerous opportunities to be social both inside and outside of work, and there is a strong team-player attitude across the company. The leadership structure is clear, with plenty of opportunities to get to know and interact with senior leaders and other higher-ups within the organisation.
The workplace culture at Z Energy is one of its standout strengths. The office has an open plan layout, which makes the hierarchy feel much less intimidating than you might expect. It's not uncommon to be sitting near members of the leadership team, creating an approachable and inclusive environment. Everyone I've worked with has been supportive and willing to help, especially as a graduate. Teamwork and collaboration are a big part of the culture, whether that's through meetings, Microsoft Teams calls, or simply working alongside colleagues in the office. The open plan environment encourages people to ask questions, share ideas, and work together, making it easy to learn from others. There are also regular social events and opportunities to connect with colleagues outside of work, helping to build strong relationships across the business.
