Z Energy is a member of the Rainbow Network and are accredited by GenderTick. Z Energy understands that being diverse as an organisation is a strength and that being able to be their whole selves allows them to thrive. There are many initiatives that encourage employees to be their true selves, and different opportunities such as the commitment to Te Ao Māori that allow staff to have a deeper understanding, respect, and appreciation of the knowledge and traditions passed from Te Ao Māori.
One of our stands relates to Diversity and Inclusion, and includes our commitment to Te Ao Māori (Te Terenga). We have targets for Māori employee head count, and have significant budget and resource allocated to uplifting and supporting employees to access education in Te Ao Māori. We have strong relationships with Mana Whenua across the country, and regularly celebrate this connection and other cultures.
There is a neurodivergent group at Z which encourages and supports employees different ways of working/learning.
Z Energy is absolutely committed to diversity and inclusion, they have a Maori Ally Network and a LGBTQ+ Network
Z is gender diverse and also very inclusive of all races, cultures etc. I have met people from many backgrounds here.
