2GO Group Inc. is the Philippines’ largest and most integrated end-to-end transportation and logistics solutions provider.
During the first few weeks, our immediate leader provided an immersion plan that allowed us to explore and gain a deeper understanding of various processes within BU. Additionally, there are departmental campaigns, such as those from InfoSec, which I occasionally join. These initiatives have helped me broaden my knowledge and stay updated on best practices.
I haven't received yet any formal training programs but the informal training where my supervisor did to us was the continuous coaching and monitoring is great since I am a fresh graduate adjusting in working field. I was able to pick up new skills such as Excel skills which I didn't learn during school days.
Training in my role is largely hands-on and immersion-based, with learning happening through actual projects and day-to-day exposure to operations. Rather than formal classroom style training, development mainly comes from working closely with different teams and stakeholders. Through this setup, I've picked up skills in process analysis, stakeholder management, data analysis, and presenting insights to leadership. Feedback is usually given informally through project discussions and reviews, which helps guide improvement and learning along the way.
Its welcoming and has a room for improvement
I had my orientation and I would say that it was an engaging moment for us new hires. Not only did it discuss about the company but we get to know each other's brief background as well.
