we have orientations and seminars with regards to this topic, we also have a specific person handling this and coordinating with different government offices to make sure that we are very compliant with the rules and regulations.

We use paper bags for medicines.
If patient has procedures, we use tea cups/coffee mugs for their water & coffee; refraining from the use of plastic water bottles. If room is not occupied, we keep the lights off. Little steps, but it goes a long way.
