The training programs are hands-on and role-specific, which helped me quickly adapt to the OR setting. I've gained skills in assisting with procedures, handling instruments, and ensuring patient safety. Development opportunities come through continuous practice, feedback from senior staff, and guidance from mentors, which has been valuable for improving both my technical and interpersonal skills.
We have our training team that provides monthly schedules of the training courses that they offer. We can also request for external trainings that could help us learn more about the trends and strategies that could make our work easier and more productive. We also have coaching and evaluations with our managers.
It's good because I learned a lot and I also have a lot of skills in myself that I can bring out when I'm at work, that I can explore all the things I still need to learn, so the training I experienced was also a big help because I was able to overcome all the trials that came my way.
My trainer provided me proper training and have me attend seminars that will help me on my career growth.
I was trained & rotated on different roles within my first 2 months. Afterwards, with a little bit of guidance, I was able to work on my own, learning tricks to make work easier & lighter. Training itself is not enough because I believe that the real training starts when you actually do the job. It made me stronger & more confident.
