I think the career progress is relatively slow since promotions are usually based on tenure and limited openings rather than purely on performance. While this can make the process feel gradual, the company does provide opportunities to grow by offering training, mentoring, and exposure to different projects that help employees build skills for future roles.
During the past year, I was able to have the opportunity to handle an additional brand under the company aside from the one I was first given. It's an additional scope in my role - a bigger brand actually. Although this is an additional learning on my side, pay bump is not much and I wasn't promoted. Promotional possibilities depend on the vacancies, based from my observation. Nevertheless, my employer is open to giving me opportunities where I can experience new things.
As an intern, what I can say is that this opportunity has definitely piqued my interest in the field of finance and banking. Throughout my internship, I've been presented opportunities to learn and experience the workings in a bank. I've also been given chances to improve on multiple skills such as communication, adaptdability, and attention to detail.
I was promoted a year in the Job, and I felt that my efforts, hardwork, and leadership was seen by my managers.
