Work environment is filled with a mix of generations! I work with boomers, millenials, and gen zs. In my opinion, this allows for a balanced environment for everyone! Cooperation and teamwork is ok among teams, at least for my department. Everyone in the team is also competent with regards their work, honestly amazes me that I get to work w/ these people! After hours - during special occasions like someone's birthday, we go out for fun nights like bowling or dinner. Our HR team also has fun nights every month, where anyone can join. Usually games like bingo, bowling, skating, escape rooms, videoke - all for free!
I have been assigned to a wonderful department with amazing team members that compliment each other well. The culture encapsulates a tight-knit relationship between colleagues, while keeping professional standards. It feels as if everyone is a part of the team, and that no one gets left behind. My team is led by a very vocal and helpful leader, accompanied by managers who embody him in their unique way. Socializing is never an issue as you will always be included. If you need help, anyone and everyone will be willing to help what they can.
