ING Hubs Philippines started in 2013. Their culture has always been built about empowering our employees in both life and work.
Supporting the Wholesale Banking Team in end-to-end procurement processes such as vendor invoicing and accrual concerns & achieving zero payment delays across all purchase requests. Built and maintained Power BI dashboards and Excel reports consolidating data across the department's initiatives, surfacing actionable insights.
I do procurement, business management and budget reporting. It is fulfilling to see to deliver what people have requested, but also my dashboards for budget reporting are being used by the leads, which streamlines their decision making regarding the requests. I am satisfied since I know my work has direct impact for the team.
I am very satisfied with my role because the company gives me many opportunities to learn and grow, even as an intern. One of my regular responsibilities is hosting our weekly Tribe Catch-ups, which has helped improve my confidence and public speaking skills. What I appreciate most is the balance between guidance and independence. Whenever I am given a task, I can approach my supervisors and ask questions at any time. At the same time, they allow me to explore, learn, and discover solutions on my own. This has helped me become more independent, resourceful, and confident in handling different responsibilities.
I'm an automation developer, usually I am given a project that I would develop for 2-4 weeks depending on the scale, and on my day-to-day I just develop said automation, talk to some clients for clarification or feedback on the automation and report to my team during our daily standup for my daily updates.
