Since my role was an intern, i do not know much about this. However, there is a program for the internal shift of roles, where you can apply to another open position within the company. however, as an intern, i was given many major tasks that made me feel like i was being given the chance to gain first-hand experience. I was also fortunate enough to experience many facets of people & culture (hr), despite being assigned to the talent acquisition team, which is something i appreciate as an undergraduate who is still uncertain about her career path.
I am happy with the career progression in our department (finance and accounting) because our leaders are now more appreciative, so the movement is faster than the traditional one where it takes a lot of years before you get promoted. If you don't get promoted right away but your performance is stellar, they still incentivize you with a salary grade increase.
The company highly encourages career growth of employees within the organization. It provides sufficient trainings and learning platforms to equip employees with the right skills. The company prioritizes employees for available positions before sourcing external candidates.
Yes, the company offers clear promotion opportunities and actively supports career development. Growth here is largely performance-based, but it also values initiative, collaboration, and a strong alignment with company values. to move up the ranks, you need to consistently deliver results, show leadership potential even in non-leadership roles and be proactive about learning and taking on new challenges. Its also important to communicate your career goals to your manager; theyre usually supportive and can help guide you toward the right path. the company offers several tools to help you grow, such as internal job postings, mentorship opportunities, training programs, and performance reviews that include development planning. If you take ownership of your career path, there are definitely opportunities to fulfill your aspirations.
