Most of my learnings as an SE intern was self-taught with little to no supervision. But they did provide very helpful tasks.
The program I was under was for creating an innovation. I learned many things about the fintech industry, the complexities of appealing to different markets, and the technical skills to match it. I was very satisfied with my GCash experience.
They taught me a lot about the process. It was just a bit of an adjustment since the department was restructuring but my supervisor took it in stride.
We were given output-based assessments like essays and presentations by our supervisor so she can know our depth of understanding of the topics. Because of this, I've learned to organize and communicate my thoughts better as well as understanding the diagrams our team often use.
