I would say that the courses and training programs in itself are effective. I do think however that there's a need to improve the structure of it to allow new hires to get a good grasp of the actual practices more easily.
I like how there is access to linkedin learning so that I can learn more about my interests and skills.
Hollistic and effective.
We have 6-month long stints with different departments while in the program, as well as a mentorship program independent of our rotations. We are immersed in different cross-department meetings to boost our business acumen. Outside our normal work, we also have leadership training and mentorship programs in place.
The company takes its mentorship program seriously because they offer structured mentoring and encourage trainees to reach out to any senior level employees to be their mentors. The company often holds informational seminars. Included in the regular evaluation metrics are extra projects initiated either by the employee or their managers for the development of skills and improvement.
