R.G. Manabat & Co. offers audit, tax, and advisory services in the Philippines, combining global KPMG standards with local market insight.
We follow a compressed workweek schedule, with 8.5 working hours from Monday to Thursday and 8 hours on Fridays. The company is also considerate of employees' safety and well-being, especially during severe weather conditions. Depending on the rainfall warning, management may implement work-from-home arrangements or suspend operations as necessary. In my role, I only need to report to the office for company events or client on-site engagements. This setup provides flexibility while still allowing us to effectively meet business and client requirements.
We work in a hybrid setup.
WFH is available so its great but its common to work overtime especially during busy season
We work under a hybrid arrangement and spend most days working from home. While my tax team places strong emphasis on attendance, requiring employees to sign in on or before the official start of business hours, finishing times are often unpredictable. It is not uncommon to work late into the evening, sometimes until midnight, while waiting for reviews of working papers. Unfortunately, not all overtime hours are approved, which means employees occasionally render additional hours without corresponding compensation.
When it comes to working arrangements, the company is flexible with it and it will depend on your engagement team. During slack season, the average work is just the standard work hours which is 42 hours per week. However, during busy season, work hours may extend up to 70 hours especially when working during the weekends to make sure that the necessary audit procedures were performed within the timeline.
