Our work hours are pretty flexible. We're only required to go to the office 8 days a month and remaining days can be done remotely, which make it easier to balance work and personal time.
In my current project, my team was not strict. It is fine wit them if I time in earlier than the proposed office hours as long as I get to finish my assigned or planned tasks.
