My direct manager for the past 6 months has been contributed why I feel anxious now at work. I feel unheard and unseen. Also, if I make a mistake, instead of moving forward to a resolution, I instead got blamed. On the other side, even tho it is other's pm diligence why some lot got stagnant on a certain log point, I am also being blamed. Words, combined with tone, are either expanding or shrinking you, and I can feel the latter part most of the time.
What I like about managers in the company is they are open to feedback. However, not all are leaders and some concerns from the people get unaddressed. There is an opportunity to train to make good mentors.
My current manager is excellent.
In ti, I think all managers are technically gifted, meaning they know their areas and processes well. But from a supervisee's standpoint, it's more a roll of the dice. Some managers are great at leading their team and making them feel valued, while others less so. I've been fortunate enough to have managers that are decent at what they do in terms of leading the team and solving issues.
Managers are approachable and makes their employees feel heard
