The performance of the employee determines promotion and opportunities.
There are opportunities to learn and take on different responsibilities within the company, especially for employees who are willing to take initiative and contribute beyond their assigned tasks. However, the career progression path could be more clearly defined in terms of the steps, expectations, and timeline for moving up to the next level. Having a more structured career development framework would help employees better understand what they need to achieve in order to progress and align their performance with their long-term career goals.
In my role, there is a track for progression and promotion. However, I would not say the same for other roles.
