The employees generally don't interact with the interns but they are very kind and nice and offer lots of free food
There isnt a single time I felt that I was an intern, not because we are overworked, but because the team I was in exposed me to the kind of work they do on a daily basis. It is not just a simple “here's your task then bye” type of relation. We are involved in meetings, even with the company CEO. We are also free to voice out our opinions during brainstorming sessions and also asks us for help during times that they think we can help. They communicate if we are doing too much and reach out if we seem unsure of how to manage things. Apart from what I solely do, the office culture seemed professional in the sense that people mind their own business but try to support each other with collaborative projects. For example, another team seems to be more knowledgeable in this area, the team unsure is open to ask another person without being judged, and openly communicate on how to navigate things.
What I love the most in URC is the environment. I grew attached to the place and the people I worked with.
Since we are part of ISC operations, our teams remain live and engaged even on weekends, as we often receive messages and instructions from our immediate superiors. The structure is fairly clear, with direct reporting lines that ensure guidance and quick decision-making. Teamwork plays a strong role in our daily operations, we collaborate closely to meet time-sensitive requirements and support one another to manage the workload. Outside of work hours, social interaction is more limited given the nature of operations, but there is still a sense of connection and openness within the group. Communication channels remain active after hours, reflecting the commitment of the team to continuous support and responsiveness. Work- Life- Integration
