There are some great people at Allison, but these are diminishing daily as they either quit or are laid off.
Different in-office days that are fairly determined. Spaces to take calls that aren’t on top of each other. Opportunities to move to other offices and greater flexibility. It’s hard enough living in this world without a job that guilts you when you can’t shift your entire life around with less than a week’s notice for forced meetings that have nothing to do with clients.
4 rounds of layoffs over the past 2 years, zero promotions and laughable raises, messy performance review process, zero time for quality onboarding, new INSANE billable hours target for AC-SAE level that leaves everyone stressed and unavailable to foster career growth outside client workload, junior staff has all been laid off and everyone is severely overwhelmed and burnt out. Required to commute 2 hours to the office twice a week even if you don't work directly with anyone there, so you're often tucked into one of the very limited conference rooms for hours on end to take calls. Lunch breaks? Never met them.
