Your days off are on a "rotating schedule", which allows you to get TWO 3-day weekends every 4 weeks, or so. There can be a lot of down time between runs/batches and as long as your not doom scrolling on your phone, you aren't bothered. The rotating schedule runs Sunday through Saturday and regularly requires working six consecutive days to make up for three-day weekends. Twelve-hour shifts are mandatory, and employees may be instructed on short notice to arrive four hours early. When someone calls out sick, day shift employees may be required to cover night shift, and vice versa. Additionally, the weekly schedule can change three to four times within the same week.
