After the merger with Sprint, that changed significantly for the worse and by the time I was laid off, I was so happy to get out of that place. They has also laid off a considerable amount of engineers, due to AI.
Product direction keeps changing all the time. Solutioning and vendors kept changing all the time. Extreme frustration on leaderships’ lack of knowledge of the realities of the software development. Too many layers in the hierarchy. Name of the game is politics. Employees of different vendors who are contractors have a bitter relationship with each other.
Growth plateauing, too many layoffs, some of the best leaders have left.
