Talented team, management a struggle.
Managers in my team and plenty others give journalists a lot of autonomy and trust off the bat. Layoffs have really crushed morale and created a lot of uncertainty in the newsroom. It seems like there's a lack of direction with some workflows, coverage areas and a lot of upheaval organizationally.
