My team does not have a graduate program; thus, it leaves a lot of room for interpretation for managers and graduates to discuss and agree on when it comes to promotion (especially around removing the graduate title). It is different for everyone, however, I believe that there should be a baseline, so it does not make anyone feel unfair. There are opportunities provided to put toward what we want to do but I personally find that it does not always get supported, or it does but it takes a lot of discussions and time. I am unsure why this happens; however, I believe it is the financial aspect tends to always hold back managers to approve them.
Clear path in progression as more experience is gained
Great opportunities, as an undergraduate they have already got me training so that once I graduate, I am competent in all fields and can prove myself quickly to progress from graduate to structural quickly!
