As I mentioned in the previous questions, the mentorship being given here is incredible. There are many very knowledgeable people working here. However, I am receiving this mentorship because I had requested for it. Had I not requested, I am unsure of what would happen. I have put forward requests for external training courses, and I find that the managers tend to be leave it until the last minute to organise and approve it. There seems to be a lot of discussions as well prior to the approval, unsure what the reason behind it.

Everyone sits with me and takes the time to explain things to me. It is quite overwhelming to think of everything I have learnt in the past 6 months being here. I feel comfortable asking everyone for help and near the grads and undergrads we have little stools to allow people to sit next to me and run through and properly explain the task and what they need from me.
